New BEA officers sworn in

The new set of officers of the BPRE Employees Association (BEA) took their oath before they finally obtained their seats at the bureau's auditorium last March 7.
''Ask what you can do for BEA and not what BEA can do for you'', Deputy Executive Director Jose B. Santos quotes Pres. John F. Kennedy's famous line but in local version. He also encouraged the new BEA officers to fuel their commitment to serve and do their duties with no prejudice.

Moreover, Executive Director Ricardo L. Cachuela asked the elected leaders to be united and transparent, strive to strengthen ties between the employees and the management. He also commended the outgoing BEA officers led Roderic Vereña for their significant accomplishments such as the extension of financial assistance to members through loans (e.g. multi-purpose loan, grocery loan, appliance loan, emergency loan, canteen purchase orders, etc.); income-generating projects and other services to the BPRE employees (e.g. T-shirts, birthday gift, funeral assistance to immediate family members, purchase at MAKRO (Pampanga), among others.

Engr. Cachuela led the oathtaking of the following elected officers: President- Ma. Cristina Gragasin; Vice President-Jeffrey Lavarias; Secretary-Priscilla Castillo; Treasurer- Lemuel Villena; Auditor- Marivic Tamani; Business Manager- Joel Dator; and PRO-Robelyn Daquila.
