Nueva Ecija receives Php19M worth of RCEF machines

Under the Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund (RCEF) Mechanization Program, a total of 10 Farmers’ Cooperatives and Associations (FCAs) in Nueva Ecija received machinery grants worth Php19 million during the ceremonial turnover held on December 13 in PHilMech Compound, Science City of Muñoz, Nueva Ecija.
In his speech, PHilMech Director III, Joel V. Dator, emphasized the need for the Facility Management and Field Operation Division (FMFOD) staff to re-evaluate the beneficiaries and provide them with additional machinery that was not given to them under the phase one of the program. He expressed his desire to complete the system, with machines from land preparation to post-harvest.
The beneficiaries include the Municipal Local Government Unit of Talavera, Kilusang Lima para sa Lahat MPC, Municipal Local Government Unit of Quezon, Kaagapay sa Kaunlaran sa Bayan ng Quezon, Cabaducan Farmers Credit Cooperative, Santuyo Water Pump Irrigators Association, Munting Nayon Agricultural Producers Assocation, Municipal Local Government Unit of Laur, City Local Government Unit of Munoz, and City Local Government Unit of Cabanatuan.
