The implementing agencies (IAs) of the Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund-Rice Extension Services Program in Region III convened on November 8 at the Philippine-Sino Center for Agricultural Technology (PHILSCAT) in Science City of Muñoz, Nueva Ecija. The purpose of the meeting was to strengthen their coordinated efforts for the program's beneficiaries.

During the meeting, participants reviewed the accomplishments of each IU, addressed implementation challenges, and established agreements for collaboration as they prepare for the second phase of the program, set to begin next year.

Mr. Elijah Z. Davalos, the Interim Director for Extension at PHilMech, presented the agency's achievements and expressed support for the convergence activities and collaborations among the implementing units.

Attendees at the forum included representatives from PHilMech, PhilRice, the Department of Agriculture Regional Field Office III (DA-RFO III), the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), and the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI).
