PHilMech's tractor-pulled float shines at the Uhay Festival

PHilMech’s float called the “Basket of Agricultural Transformation” has garnered favorable reactions from the viewers as it features its advocacies and banner programs during the 11th Uhay Festival float parade held in the Science City of Muñoz, Nueva Ecija, on January 20.
The advocacies featured in the float revolves around agricultural mechanization and postharvest. It was depicted through the Rice Processing System (RPS) of the RCEF Mechanization Program and the Shared Processing Facilities (SPF) of the CFIDP Program.
Besides, the agency has also highlighted its advocacies on Youth for Mechanization or Y4M, and women empowerment. The float was escorted by the new generation of beautiful PHilMech staff representing the young farmers, mechanization specialists, agripreneurs, machine operators, and mechanics.
Meanwhile, breaking the streotype, a PHilMech lady staff drove the four-wheel drive tractor during the parade.
The said float was created by more than 70 staff of PHilMech, while over a hundred of them have joined the parade this morning, dancing in the "Arangkada" song. The team was headed by the Director III Joel V. Dator.
Various egencies within the Science city also joined the parade including PhilRice, BFAR, CLSU, PCC, DepEd, LGUs, and more.
