SILAW receives PHilMech solar dryer

Salabusob Integrated Livelihood Association of Women (SILAW) receives one unit of Multi Commodity Solar Tunnel Dryer (MCSTD) during the turn-over ceremony held on October 14, 2020 in Labi, Bongabon, Nueva Ecija.

This is part of the Microenterprise Development Assistance for SILAW Turmeric Processing Project. It is in collaboration with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Mission-Protect Wildlife, Department of Environment and Natural Resources - Community Environment and Natural Resources Office Region 3, Department of Trade and Industry Provincial Office and the Local Government Unit of Bongabon.

Technical briefing and demonstrations on the processing and drying of turmeric using the MCSTD was conducted by Enterprise Development Division-Enterprise Capability Enhancement Section headed by Engr. Danilo Briones.
