PHilMech GAD Office conducts forum on safe spaces act and orientation on MOVE

In observation of the 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women 2022, PHilMech Gender and Development (GAD) Office organizes a forum on Safe Spaces Act (RA 11313) and orientation on Men Opposed on Violence Against Women Everywhere (MOVE chapters)."
MOVE Philippines National Chairperson, Reynaldo G. De Guia gave a lecture on what MOVE is all about and discussed the Safe Spaces Act or the Act Defining Gender-Based Sexual Harassment in Streets, Public Spaces, Online, Workplaces, and Educational or Training Institutions.
PHilMech also introduced its new Committee on Decorum and Investigation (CODI) officers pursuant to Republic Act 7877 (otherwise known as the Anti-Sexual Harassment Acts of 1995).
As support to #VowToEndVAW, PHilMech employees posed with END-VAW gesture as the program concludes.
