Leyte receives Php219.4M worth of RCEF grants

A total of 67 farmers’ cooperatives and associations (FCAs) in Leyte received Php219.4 million worth of agricultural machines through the Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund (RCEF) Mechanization Program implemented by PHilMech.
The FCAs received various production and postharvest equipment under the 2024 fund allocation, including 41 four-wheel drive tractors, 23 hand tractors, 12 floating tillers, 18 PTO-driven disc plows, 9 levee makers, 28 walk-behind transplanters, 7 riding-type transplanters, 37 rice combine harvesters, 8 recirculating dryers, and a 1.5-ton multi-stage rice mill.
